Miraflores includes: Hotel San Agustin, Larcomar Mall, Parque del Amor.
Plaza de Armas includes: San Francisco Church, Santo Domingo Church.
We walked from Miraflores to Huaca Pucllana.
Huaca Pucllana to Larco Museum is 15-20 minutes by taxi.

At 1:30 AM we departed Miami for Lima. My third trip over the Amazon at night. Hotel: San Agustin. Walk around Miraflores area. Lunch nearby.

National Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology at Bolivar Square.

Franciscan monastery w/ catacombs; bones sorted by type. Mortar contains egg whites from sea birds. In courtyard a demonstration was preparing. Central Plaza. Riot control vehicles. Another church. {?which}

Buffet dinner and Peruvian dance exhibition at La Dama Juana Restaurant. Part of Larcomar, a mall set into a cliff above the Pacific Ocean.

Walk to Larcomar. Pass small religious parade; apparently a school celebrating its saint's day. Walk through Parque Del Amor, featuring a sculpture of lovers. Split up. S to Indian Market. I to Huaca Pucllana, an archelogical site featuring bricks set on edge, "library style," to withstand earthquakes. Lunch at Larco Museum and then visit that museum. Highlights: huge storeroom full of pots not otherwise on display; erotic pottery.

	Up very early. Bus to plane to Lima to bus to San Agustin hotel. We walked down to the mall, ate lunch there overlooking the Pacific, and found tweezers. Farewell Peru dinner at a restaurant {?which}.
