Aug 2 - Blue House & Insadong

We took Prof. Lee to lunch at Hanilkwon, near Gyeongbok Palace. Another drive-by shot of the Blue House. Security is tight. From Bugaksan Mountain, behind the Blue House, we get a clear view of Seoul Tower. To the north from Bugaksan are more residences, but less dense. On Insadong street, these four girls interviewed me for a summer vacation assignment.
This vendor guards the entry to Insadong. You can buy anything from a hefty Buddha to a old toy truck. One of the more touristy shops. Directly across the street is a nice wood crafts vendor.
