Oyts are the simplest mathematical construct. Each oyt is no more than two directed connections to oyts.
An oyt space is a connected graph of oyts, where some of them have associated rule engines. A rule engine is a set of rules, where each is a template tree and a replacement subgraph. When the template matches the tree at the associated oyt, the engine replaces the matched tree with the replacement.
